Constipation is an unpleasant condition and when people are tired
of trying to fix it with different types of supplements they turn to
alternative medicine. A natural remedy for constipation seems to be a
safer choice than any type of medicine or laxative.
Constipation is a common digestive problem caused by a lack of
fibers in the diet. This is why in most of the cases it can be solved
just by making some adjustments to their regular diets by adding more
fruits and vegetables to it and removing fast foods.
Some of the fruits that are known to help with constipations are
prunes, pears, pineapple and peaches. They can be found in any season
and you can serve them as a snack between meals, simple or in fruit
salads or with yogurt. From the vegetables the most helpful ones are
green beans, kale, spinach and carrots. The one important rule you
should follow is not to consume at the same meal fruits and vegetables
together. You can have fruits in the morning, vegetables at noon and
as a snack until dinner you can have again a fruit.
